Glosstech ProSeries Panel Prep is the absolute way to reveal the ACTUAL state of a surface after polishing and before ceramic coating application. The solvent-based formula easily removes compound and polishing oils and fillers.
Many products on the market are based on isopropyl alcohol. However, IPA solutions cannot fully remove durable fillers or heavy carrier oils contained in many compounds and polishes. These remaining oils and fillers hide the true surface condition of the vehicle after polishing. Sometimes the solvents of a coating remove the fillers during application, only revealing scratches beneath the coating after application.

PROSERIES PANEL PREP PRODUCT INFO
DIRECTIONS
Prior to application, place the vehicle in a well-lit, temperature-controlled 50°F-80°F (10°C-26°C), & clean environment. Wash and dry the vehicle, making sure panels are cool, out of direct sun.
Only apply ProSeries Panel Prep to surfaces with a microfiber towel. NEVER SPRAY ProSeries Panel Prep DIRECTLY TO SURFACES.
1) Max application area: one half of a vehicle door or one quarter of a hood.
2) Gather (3-4) 16”x16” clean microfiber towels and a bottle of Glosstech ProSeries Panel Prep. Fold and stack the microfiber towels so they have 8 clean sides.
3) Use two clean microfiber towels: Towels #1 & 2.
4) Liberally apply enough ProSeries Panel Prep to saturate Towel #1 prior to first use. Wipe Towel #1 thoroughly over the area, spreading an even trail of product.
5) Immediately follow over the same area with Towel #2, wiping the panel crystal clear.
6) For each new section, apply 1-2 additional sprays to Towel #1. Rotate Towel #1 to a new side, every other new section. Half way through the vehicle swap out new towels for Towels #1 & 2.
7) After wiping off ProSeries Panel Prep, wait at least 10 minutes for the solvents to completely evaporate, then apply your favorite GlossTech ceramic coating or sealant to the panel.
** Tip: If any residue remains on a surface after using ProSeries Panel Prep, spray a fresh clean towel 2-3 times with distilled water from 8” away and wipe the surface clear.

A: No, GlossTech ProSeries Panel Prep is a strong solvent based formula designed to remove wax and grease from panels during prep or all polishing carrier oils and fillers after polishing. For this reason it was mainly designed for automotive paint or panels with clear coat and exterior polycarbonate plastic such as vehicle head and tail lights.
GlossTech ProSeries Panel Prep is perfectly suited to prepare matte paint finishes before the application of a ceramic coating. However, DO NOT POLISH MATTE PAINT under any circumstances.
Q: Can ProSeries Panel Prep be used to clean and prepare exterior black piano key plastic trim and textured plastics?
A: At full strength no. However, ProSeries Panel Prep may be used on these surfaces if it is diluted 1:3 with distilled water.
