Glosstech ProSeries Glass is an evolution in automotive glass coating technology. In addition to a hydrophobic surface which quickly sheds water and contamination, ProSeries Glass formula's extreme durability improves glass surfaces by aiding in rock chip prevention.
Glass is extremely porous, giving it an uneven and irregular surface under a microscope. These surface imperfections create traction for rocks to catch and transfer their full impact force into glass, creating chips. Additionally, the porous nature of glass leaves it prone to faster dirt build-up.
GlossTech ProSeries Glass formula enhances glass in three key ways:
- It improves glass clarity and reduces glare by smoothing out microscopic surface flaws created during manufacturing.
- By smoothing out the rough areas of glass, the formula reduces the potential for rock chips by decreasing the available surface texture that airborne debris can grab and transfer their force into.
- The formula also includes friction modifiers to create an ultra-smooth surface, allowing wipers, water, and contaminants to slide off easily.
