DIRECTIONS
WATERLESS CAR WASH METHOD
The waterless wash method might seem scary, or counterintuitive, for some vehicle owners at first. However, it is a safe, gentle, and effective way to clean automotive surfaces at light to moderate dirt levels. The solution and towels work together, replacing water to safely lift and remove dirt and contamination from the surface with soft microfiber towels.
For best results: wash 2-3 medium sized panels at once when panels are cool, out of direct sun.
1) Gather (3-4) __16”x16” clean __Utility microfiber towels__ and one __oversized microfiber drying towel__ before starting. Fold the clean, plush, 16x16” microfiber towels so they have 8 clean sides and stack them.
2) Mix the waterless wash solution in a spray bottle (chemical pump sprayer is most efficient) at a 1:64 dilution.
3) Pre-soak (spray) panels with enough solution to fully saturate surfaces. The solution helps to encapsulate contamination and lubricates the surface, allowing for safe, easy, and streak free cleaning.
4) Use ONE side of a folded 16”x16” microfiber towel to clean ONE panel, or one subsection of a larger vehicle panel. After finishing a panel, or subsection, flip or fold the towel to expose a fresh side of the towel for the next panel.
5) Panel Cleaning Technique: Start at the top of the panel, gently pressing the towel flat across the top of the panel to fully engage the towel against the surface as you wipe.
6) Wipe the towel horizontally over the panel in straight lines. The leading edge of the towel collects dirt from the surface. After the first pass is completed, drop down and make a new line beneath the first, overlapping the first wipe area by ~10%.
7) Roll the towel’s dirty leading edge, away from the surface, to expose a new clean leading edge. Now wipe a new path below the first in a parallel direction.
8) After washing, immediately dry each panel, using an oversized microfiber drying towel.
RINSELESS CAR WASH METHOD
The rinseless wash method is best used when: weather prevents outside washing, the vehicle is too dirty for a waterless wash, or the vehicle needs a deeper cleaning than a waterless wash. The method features a wash mitt (for surface agitation), a bucket, a drying towel, and a spray bottle of solution.
For best results wash 2-3 medium sized panels at once when panels are cool, out of direct sun.
1) Add water to a bucket with a grit containment insert at the bottom. If desired, use a second bucket to clean wash media before dipping back into rinseless bucket and washing the next panel.
2) For standard cleaning mix the Rinseless solution in a wash bucket, 1 oz solution to 256 oz water (1:256). For maximum cleaning mix at 1:128.
3) If vehicle surfaces are excessively dirty (mud, salts, or heavy road grime), first rinse off loose dirt with a pressure washer or high pressure nozzle. Then move the vehicle inside a garage to wash.
4) Pre-soak (spray) panels with the solution to loosen dirt and contamination particles. Chemical sprayers tend to be the most efficient.
5) Dunk a __GLOSSTECH® PLUSH MICROFIBER WASH MITT__ or microfiber towel into the bucket solution then gently wash the panel. If using a towel instead of a wash mitt, fold the towel twice to create 8 clean sides. After cleaning a full panel, switch to a new towel section to wash the next panel.
6) Wash the vehicle starting from the top down, section by section, in straight overlapping lines.
After washing each section or panel, immediately dry it with an oversized __GLOSSTECH Drying Towel__.
